opinions on bbs wheels

I heard that these were put on the type rz and looked at a few models on tirerack. I think they look nice but don't know a lot about htem. What is the general opinion on these? Are they one piece? Forged? Any details?

BBS makes some really nice wheels, but they are more suited for European cars. i dunno why, but that is the feeling i get when i think of BBS. you dont see many RX-7s, Supras, and Skylines with BBS' on them.

nice wheels though. most of them are forged one pice, and they make some 2-pieces. they are pretty light and strong.

Yeah, you never see BBS on RX-7s from the factory or on Toyotas from the factory. Right.

BBS are great, usually. Ocassionally they'll make me say "what the ****?", but usually they're on point. Helluva lot better than most of the **** Americans put on RX-7s.

BBS RX mesh style in 8 x 16 weighs 20 lbs shipping weight. Out of the box, I'd estimate at 18 lbs each. the 8 x 17s will probably be heavier.

I've had the BBS RK for quite a while. I like the way they look, and the weight is quite light compared to the other poplular brands. The forged alloy is very strong and no signs of the rims bending. I believe the 17x8 were about 15=16 lbs. Not too bad compared the stock rim weight.
