One weird looking FD
#26
Yeah I remember that one from SpeedLab too...I think it was built by Knight Sports, but I'm not positive. They wanted like $27k for it think. Definately...umm...unique looking. I'd take it...of course then again I don't have an FD anymore either

Actually I thought of the Cala when I saw that, I like the lights on that FD.
Anyone know anything about the car or where to get the kit, here's another pic with "evolution FD3S" in the caption
A front end like that would solve the poor lighting problem of the cwest or re's
HKS had a similar one a long time ago I think, it was silver and was a one-off.

thats an FD? looks like a whole different car
Yep, not only that, it was made by Amamiya. Check out FD Kai Mag, It's about halfway down the page. They've also got a different shot of the RE scissor door FD. Along with some sweet photos of the Panspeed 7.
Actually, even farther down the page, there are other pics of the car in this thread, and something about it being 'de-tuned to 380hp'.

"you acutally want that kit? ewwwwwwwwwwwww"

Absolutely. It's one of the most original kits I've seen to date. In comparison, I think the RE lights look like an afterthought (reminds me of when mitsubishi slapped fixed lights on the 3000gt near the end of production). Also notice the rear bumper on the KS car, it actually extends up to the tail light section. Again I think that looks much cleaner than the RE solution of creating a bumper and then slapping a light cover on. The KS car looks hardcore, but at the same time it has an OEM pureness that is lacking with the other kits.
Callaway uses similar lights on the C12. I wonder if they would be willing to sell them seperately(without the car).
