Don't you think the guy would know if it was the car. He seems to know something about the RX-7 so I think he would know. someone e-mail him for the paint code. I have a chaste white and the code is PT.
Also, why does everyone talk about how rare the CYM is and how they would give there left nut for that color, when the chaste white is the second most rare color with only a couple hundred more than the CYM.
IMO the CYM is nice but the color is a little on the mustard side for me. I think the White with the black accents is the best color, but hey thats why I bought one

The CYMs are coveted as much because the color was used EXCLUSIVELY on R-1 model RX-7s (in the US) and there were only 350 made. Also while Chaste White is rare on RX-7s, partly because it was only avilable (in the US) during 94 & 95, it is not as desireable because it was also available on all the other cars in Mazda's lineup.
Vintage Red, Montego Blue, and CYM were RX-7 exclusive colors.
VR was the most popular followed, in order, by:
Briliant Black
MB
Silverstone
CW
CYM
Pearlie White (a one off special for Mazda Corporate) also later I believe some Miatas, MX-6s, and MPVs were painted this color.

The pictures at the web site show a body color code of "NU". But you can also see that it was painted because you can see the paint build up around the stickers and it looks like there is some red unneath one of the stickers. The eBay post does not say "THE pearl white car" or anything like that, so I don't think the seller is trying to lie about it -- it just says it is white and leaves it at that. I think the "RARE" part refers to the fact that it is a 94 with pretty low mileage.
I know the guy that bought the Pearl White one from Mazda (I think) and this isn't that car. It was a 95 and it now has some goodies on it (very nicely done). The stock shift **** from that car is installed in my car right now.

israel, you're right about the montego blue miata. I drive a '90 miata, so I know quite a bit about the colors and packages for them. Personally, I think the Montego blue on a miata looks bluer that the Montego blue on an rx-7, which appears more green.
