Crooked willow makes a bigger stock replacement, a bigger passenger side add on to stock cooler, and a dual kit. check out www.crookedwillow.com

besides the cwc kit, i cant really think of any other dual upgrade kits. I think chuck at rotaryextreme.com was talking about making a larger single oil cooler upgrade that is supposed to be work just as good, if not better than the cwc one. im not sure how hard it would be, but you might just want to try squeezing a stock dual kit in from an r1, if you havent attempted that already.

A lot of people ask me about my custom monster oil cooler kit. Now I decide I will offer it to the public. There will be two versions of the monster oil cooler kit.

1. Stock replacement: 34 row Earl's oil cooler (13"x12"x3"), 2.25 times the size of the single stock one, one thermostat, Earl's SS braided lines and fittings. custom brackets.

2. Dual oil cooler: two 34 row Earl's oil coolers, total of 4.5 times the size of the single stock one, one thermostat, Earl's SS braide lines and fittings, custom aluminum brackets.

I will not make a passenger side add-on kit.

The CWC one uses the 19 row Mocal oil cooler. The Earl's and Mocal oil coolers have the same kind of design. But the Mocal 34 row does not come with a AN -10 fitting. It came with the AN-12 fitting so I choose the Earl's.

As you can see, my single oil cooler kit almost equals to the CWC dual oil kit (2.5 times the size of the single stock one for the CWC dual kit). The dual kit will be the largest oil cooler kit you can find for the RX-7. To install, you need to modify the under tray that's beneath the stock oil cooler. The oil cooler kits fit with stock headlight. For more info and picture, check out my website and go to my monster oil cooler link. I will post more info once I get approval from Jason for group buy.

Thank you too! new updates

Hmm...after thinking for a while, I guess I will offer the add-on kit as well but for that, I need to do more research. I couldn't do an add-on on my car because I have the automatic transmission oil cooler on the other side already. But I guess most people will rather keep the stock one and add a monster one. Seems more economical. What do you guys think? Let me know which one you want the most. Time for a poll?

oil cooler

Chuck,
I'd be all for a right-side add -on cooler. Duane at CWR is no longer actively making his stuff so it would be all YOU!

Re: oil cooler

I didn't know. That sucks. He is a nice guy. I guess just like you said, it's all me now. I will start working on the passenger side add-on (right side). If any of you is interested, send me an email at rotaryextreme@aol.com. DO NOT PM ME! My PM does not seem to be working at all. I never got any replies if I PM people. Send me an email and let me know what kind you are looking for (1. single,2. dual,3. add-on). Once I get approval from Jason, I will post this group-buy thing at the group buy section. Thanks all.

prices for oil cooler kit

I updated my website to include prices for the oil cooler kit. The prices listed are for single purchase. If I can get a group buy of 5 or more, I can knock off another 10-15%. To go directly to the page,

http://www.rotaryextreme.com/oilcooler.html.

Or you can visit my website and click on the Monster Oil Cooler kit link. E-mail me if you are interested. If I get 5 of you ready to buy, I can get them made cheaper.
