What did your car do? What were the symptoms?
I've searched a bit on this for customers cars, and have only found bits of information, though it's a seemingly regular problem. Perhaps this could be sticky-worthy...

a badly adjusted one might also give similar symptoms.
not sure on the FD as these are mostly FC stuff but i would look for lousy throttle response, hunting idle, idle that is high/low, gas milage useage (abnormal), and the smoothness of the power band and reving.

recently i put my stock ECU back into the car and noticed a check engine light. after a quick diagnosis i got code 12, which is for the TPS. however, i checked the voltages for narrow and full ranges for open and closed throttle...all my voltages were in spec, however, even after resetting the ECU, i still get the check engine light...not sure if the ECU is bad, or maybe the harness is bad. any suggestions?

These are not necessarily symptoms of a failed TPS, but more of an out of adjustment one so they may be similar:

my car actually runs fine...i don't have any symptoms...the only thing is that check engine light. the only thing i have is when the A/C is turned on and the car is idling, my RPMs fluctuate between 900 - 1200-1500, but i've been told that is a different problem.
