Obtaining a Salvage Title

Obtaining a Salvage Title
So I recently bought a 95 LHD track car that I will not be heartbroken if I cannot get it back on the road but I would really like to get it titled if at all possible. Washington state allows a salvage title to be obtained after a State Patrol inspection.
The inspection consists of making sure the following is in place:
1) Engines and short blocks, 2) Frame, 3) Transmission and/or transfer case, 4) Cab, 5) Door, 6) Front or rear differential, 7) Front or rear clip, 8) Quarter panel, 9) Truck bed or box, 10) Seat, 11) Hood, 12) Bumper, 13) Fender, and 14) Airbag.
I still need to figure out a cost effective engine to swap in before I put another 20b in place. However, the biggest problem that I face is dealing with the airbags. So my question is has anyone else obtained a salvage title in Washington? I am strongly against airbags in the first place so I am trying to figure out if there is a way I can either borrow some parts from my 93 or configure the dash lights to pass inspection without blowing my whole budget on something useless like airbags in a car with a full cage. I have heard that as long as the dash lights say the airbag is fine that the State Patrol is not going to go any further to try and find out if they were installed properly but I do not want to be surprised.
I have searched all over but I cannot seem to find much on obtaining a salvage title just threads on not buying one. So any help would be appreciated.

Stock steering wheel + airbag is easy. You can pick them up on the forums all day long. Passenger side airbag is a bit more difficult.
There is a plug that you can jumper on the driver side, under the dash, near your right knee/shin that will stop the airbag lights from blinking if this is what you need. There is a thread or three on this. Search and ye shall find.

Anything major that you purchase to put it back together you will need to have receipts for so keep all them. They need proof that the parts that you put on it are not stolen. If it all possible the vin of the car the parts came off of should be listed on the receipt.

Other than the engine and airbags the car is complete. Though I do not understand the whole receipt thing if the parts are there already I am not going to replace them just to get receipts. Again not really sure what to expect as far as what they are looking for I am again thinking that since I own a 93 that while I am improving it over the winter I could borrow a few parts long enough to get the inspection over with easier.
I have searched a lot and have found how to disable the lights but I know that if the lights do not come on that will raise more problems than if they stay lit. I am thinking that I can simply rig the lights to come on and mimic the light behavior on my 93. However, I need to know if anyone else knows if they are going to pull things on the car apart to check. So if anyone has passed or gone through an inspection I would greatly appreciate any information regarding what to expect.
