nylon/plastic Door retainer clips

Anyone know a place to get the plastic/nylon door retainer clips that hold our door panels on?

Ive tried a few universals with no luck, and most of mine broke when i removed the door panel.

If anyone knows where, or knows of a universal that works please lemme know via post of PM.

Good question. Since taking my door trim panel off its never been the same. Although all the screws are there, everytime I open the door it still feels like the panel isn't on properly.

I'm curious about this too. One of the nylon pegs broke on my passenger side door is busted.

You could try looking at other Mazda models in a junkyard. You would be surprised how many of the small bits are the same between cars.

And half of my door panel clips are worthless now too, expecially on the bottom of the door. I hate the 'flimsy' door panels.

The clips are designed to be "one time use" which is why they go so bad so fast.

When you install them, the little fins are pushed backwards to lock against the sheed metal. When you remove them, the fins get pushed around randomly, some break off, etc.

I'm talking about the white, opaque nylon/plastic pegs attached to the upper inside lip of the door panel that the door hangs on. Without both, the panel hangs slightly away from the window pane.

Looking at the junk yards is a good idea. You can also check with local Collision shops too. The clips are NOT necessarlly one-time-use. There's a tool to help remove them properly, but they still break on occasion. Shops know that and some keep an assortment in stock.
