Unless you want to drift at every corner in town I don't really see the necessity to have bosst at lower rpm. I think it should add to mileage as well because driving in 5th gear at 3000rpm should give you a speed between 60 and 70 mph, which is good for highway cruising.

Just wondering what ECU you will be using? I have PFC and I was reading a PFC tune file on this forum and got intriged by the injector staging.
I think a little modification should be in place with the non seq setup as boost will kick in at a slightly different rpm and will be constant till redline and not drop at 4500 rpm.

Are the UK cars geared differently than the US models ? ? IIRC at 3k rpm in 5th gear I'm running right at 80 mph.

just so you know, i think that's a very optomistic estimate. my car with dp, mp, cp, intake and aggressive street port was making full boost at 3800 rpm. a cat is only going to make that number higher. all of that aside however, i liked the car that way, the system never failed and i just got used to a little different driving style.

I'll be running a PFC on mine with an agressive street port that is also half bridge.

My car is a JDM so not sure on the gearing.

I understand I'll have to put the map into non seq mode??? That right?

yes. you can do that on the settings screen i think. just poke around until you find it and then scroll down and change the symbol. there are only two symbols and the pfc comes set sequential.
