NON-SEQ, can I use 1 watt resistors instead of .5 watt?

Ive just done my non-seq mod and the procedure I'm following says to replace all the solenoids with 330ohm .5 watt resistors ( apart from purge control). It just so happens I have some 330ohm 1 watt resistors, can I use these instead of the .5 watt ones?

It's fine to use the 1 watt resistor. Just don"t go below .5
