Being honest, I'm not a big fan of kits -- but I have no shame in admitting that car will rip mine apart. It’s no dog, and you should seriously stop making judgements on a 1/4 time. It means half of ****.

Edit: This assumption was made according to the site that supplied the kit and not on this specific car in this thread.

Was that a Ford 8.8 or 9" rear axel in those pics? I had no idea he had that in there, and don't understand why he would do that, there goes a lot of his handling.

He had no intentions of using the car for anything other than straight line. It's not like he's the only person to ruin the handling characteristics of the FD.. Look at all the tubbed out, tube framed ones.. Hell, look at all the people that just "own" them. I bet 1/3 of the owners even have a clue how the car actually handles.. let alone how to drive one - even mildly using the cars handling abilities to any extent..
Not my cup of tea either, but I think it's pretty obvious the car goes straight.. And that's about it.
Might sound like I defend this guy alot.. I'm not. I'm defending the CAR. It's still a hell of a machine either way, and it seems to be the talk of the forum every time he posts.

There are very few cars on this forum that could outrun a C5-R once it was in motion. You can't base a car's performance solely on elapsed time.
