Hi Everybody i have just bought my 1st rx7 and do not know anything about them execpt they are really fun to drive i am having a problem finding out the model type and year of my 7 because the dealer i got it from said it's a 99 and when i checked on this website http://www.j-garage.com/mazda/rx-7/fd3s.htm i read that my car is a 2001 model because of the extra's it has on it is there any way i can clear this and sort it out the extras i have are

Front Fog Lamps
Nardi Steering Wheel
Boost Gauge Insted Of Oil Gauge

open the drivers side door and look at the gap that the door covers to the right...it should say all model info there.

It's entirely possible that your car had the updated parts installed later. But yes the VIN and door sticker is the way to know.
