The New Video Clip of SCOOT 4-Rotor RX7

The front looks awsome! Car looks great, but the rear end has to go. Doesn't really show us the kind of power that lurks within though. And it doesn't give us a good idea of the sound either. I want a better movie!

Here are some more pictures of the car. Lights are on the gotta have list. Infiniti M45 taillights, bad so bad.

There is another movie on here somewhere4 that shows the car with the whole front end off of it. It shows them starting the engine and revving it up a few times. It looks like it has a carbon fiber intake manifold. It also shows how much power it has as it twists so much with every rev. I have the movie but I don't know exactly where it is on the forum. I'll look for it later unless someone beats me to it.

i dunno... i just don't think it really looks like a 7 anymore... looks more like the new Honda "NSX" concept (i can't remember what it was actually called) than the FD i've drooled over for so many years. my opinion, i'd MUCH rather have a 20B putting out 650 with a full CF RE-Amemiya widebody GT kit... now that would be a damn nice car.

LOL! I love how people can be so crabby on this site even if it's a 4 rotor NA FD that we're talking about. Fact is, there's probably a handful of people that have completed a custom 4 rotor car in the world and people can still find something to gripe about like the quality of the vid. The glass is always half empty I guess for some people.

Thanks for the vids.I totally love that beast but the rear end needs to go...looks nothing like an FDs rear lmfao!WTF were they thinking with that rear end. They need to round it off and put the FD lights back there. No videos of this thing running yet...is that video out now?

not that anyone cares, but my friend and I are currently in the process of building a 4 rotor. Instead of using 12a's we are using 13b. I know many people arent going to believe me but we have the crank nearly done on cad. We have moderate experience with rotaries but substancal work with doing stuff different. We put a 350 in a mazda rx-7. I know this is rare and rather wrong. Thus why we plan on redeeming ourself by the 4 rotor. We recently purcashed another second gen.
if anyone cares

I realize this. The car itself needs work. I got a deal i couldnt pass up. I also figured that if i was going to put a V-8 in one, I couldnt pull myself to do it to a really nice one. I enjoy projects. I think i may want to throw the 4 rotor in a FD. I dont see many Fd without engines that arent totalled. What would be a decent price for just a shell. It can be bone stock. I dont need anything done to it!

the car was prolly made to show off new products, and show what scoot can do with a car (like making a whole new rear end). i love the car my self, it is not a rx7 in my book but a whole new car.
