New Too Forum

Hey everyone
I own a 95 c280 benz
I fell in love with the rotory in 99 when I learned about them and was exposed to the rotary engine.
The gen 3 twin turbo is such a beautiful car.
I was looking to become a owner
I noticed this add on auto trader
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=23

I was wondering if you can give me some tips and advice become a owner
I appreciate it
Do you see anything wrong with this car beside all the mods and high miles?

Yes, there is a FAQ thread stickied in this forum...it will take days to read the information it contains...please start there.

There is nothing visibly wrong with the car in your ad, it's high priced for the mileage though.

Welcome to the club. You might want to check in the classifieds on this site too before making your decision.

Get ready for a :

Sinus= Oil leak
Cluster= Turbos wont boost
Tension= White smoke out the tail pipe
Migriane= Finding a tech that cares about your FD

Oh, and I second that, the price seems a bit high for the miles. Best of luck !

Too much $$$for the miles. Shop around, for that money you could do better (especially for that color combo which is not as desirable as a general observation). The sterring wheel is not original and red? with no airbag. Some mods under the hood. Are you looking for an original car, some mods or fully worked?

Check Ebay, prices are generally cheaper. For comparison I picked up my red/bk 94 r2 with 35K on it for $18000.

Thank you for the response

I talked to the dealer today its a rebuilt engine with only 18k on it.
He has a list of all the mods and all the paperwork on it.
Im out of town next week so Im going to go check the car out hopefully before then if not after.
I hate that steering wheel on it its ugly. I love the color of the car thou black fits me perfect. Yeah Ive been reading all the things to look for when I test drive. Im going to talk him down on the price. I want to buy one thats close and from a dealer and it has to be a 5 speed twin turbo. Which its a rare car to find.
