i was messing around with the car an i figured out that the car does not want to rev past 6k, it sounds like a rev limiter and it will not rev any higher? i think it right where the second turbo kicks in? please help????

You should look up KD Rotary they might be close to you, they should be able to help you out with what you want.

www.kdrotary.com

They are very close to allentown. They are also fairly expencive and have a long waiting list, but it's worth the call. They are a great shop.

Also, IR Performance in Clifton, NJ is another great shop that's not too far from you. I don't know if they have the space/availibility though.

edit: I just saw that Rich posted in here earlier. You should really take the car to him if he can get you in there. They are great

I think I read there is a rev limiter built into the ECU. Can't remember where I read that or at what point it kicks in. I'll see what I can find.

my auto shifts closer to 7-8k. It also shifts pretty hard from 1st to 2nd. I've been meaning to get the fluid flushed. My bet is that it's never been changed in the 14 years of its life. Yours might need the same.

It doesnt rev past 6k at idle or under load? What exactly is happening at 6k? Do you have a boost gauge?

either way idle or under load it will only go to 6k. Sometimes when it gets to 6k it acts almost like a rev limiter, kinda bounces, other times it dies stoppes pulling kinda flattens out? i felt the bov and the one isnt blowing any air, none not when reved or anything???
