I just picked a set from Shine Auto Project (thanks, Ken!). At 8 lbs total for both CF sides (4lbs each)...it's hardly accountable for heavy weight...for someone to really care that amount of weight reduction, they would be stripping the car down a lot to bare essentials, no PS seat, panels, etc

yea +1 on the install by the way, i re-did mine today... i gotta say much better.

I used 6mm bolt Rivnuts and neoprene washers to seal that inner panel camber so water doesn't get in an rust out the steel.
Mine are FRP and they were 2.3 lbs each. I could stand to lose 25 pounds myself, so I'm not sweating the added weight.
