Matt, Fikses are very hard to come by unless you get them directly from Fikse. For a set of 17 inch FM5s (like both the thread starter and I have) you are looking at around $3600.

Are those wheels really light weight or is it just a name thing?

I am by no means a 'rich bastard.' I found a good deal on them (used) by being resourceful .

They are three piece wheels, very strong and fairly light. They're the spec wheels in many racing series.

Go check out www.Fikse.com for more info.

This is posted by the little brother.

It took me a good 10 seconds to realize that you were posting a message supporting me, I coundn't see anything but your sig.

I have alot of respect for the car and I can honestly say that I have spent more time going to town on the car with micro-fibers and q-tips than I have spent driving it.

They are almost as light as the stock wheels, I think like 16-17 lbs is what the FM5's weigh

I love the old school PFS front bumper. I wonder if anyone has modded that bumper to hold the 99 signals?

The front wheels (8.5 x 17) weigh that much, the rears (10 x 17) are a bit heavier, I think my rear FM5s came out to 21 lbs. each.
