New here,greetings from Italy

Hi to everyone

first of all,i want to say sorry for my english i'll try to do my best.

Second is that this is my first 3d but i was looking at this superb forum for more than one year, and today is the time to ask some advices.

It's ages that i'm looking for an Rx7,here in Italy there are few of them and the prices are really high (the average price for a stock in normal condition rx7 is 18k Euro = 22500 $ )and i'm a college student that can't spend that much, considering also that i plan to spend 10k $ in aftermarkets products starting from the reliability mods to bnr stage 3 and other stuff.

So today i found an opportunity,a totaled rx7 is for sale right now and i can buy it for nearly nothing but:

1)i have no idea if it's in "rebuildable"condition

2)If it so,is the job worth? Can be the car's chassis as good as the original or it will always lack some sort of problem?

3)and obviously, how much do you think will cost the job?

Here is the picture(the same of the selling post),i know it doesn't say much but any kind of advice is precious for me

Anyway greetings again from italy to this beatiful community

thank you

Andrea

Buon giorno Andrea! I can't answer your questions at all. . .but I want to welcome you and I hope you do find useful information. I have vacationed in Italy for the past two years (mostly Toscano) and love it, but it does need more RX7'S!

ciao,

well I can see 3000-3500euros damage there, if you plan to use genuine parts. I am going with the prices in malta. pm me to get you shipping and prices of parts.

that is assuming your engine is fine.

is it Left hand drive or right?

Good luck

Distiniti saluti da malta!

Ci sentiamo

George

ps Benvenuto nella communita!

That FD pictured looks as it was wrapped around a pole or tree, and the front end structure (including suspension) surely has suffered some pretty severe damage. It will probably cost quite a bit to get it into road-worthy shape, and in your situation (not a whole lot of money to spend), it would probably be more trouble than it's worth. I'd try looking elsewhere for an FD, even though I'm sure they're probably not too plentiful in Italia.

Benvenuto alla tribuna RX-7, e li spero ritrovamento al proprio un FD.

Sorry I don't know any Italian, but Welcome! Just my opinion, but I think you'd be better off looking for a structurally sound car with a blown engine.
