Very happy with my ACT Street/strip and ACT 9.5# flywheel. I also went with the ACT counterweight. i dont remember if this is a necessary part, but I have it..

This clutch is very easy to modulate.. ie, its not difficult to get going from a stop or anything. only difference is its a bit stiffer than stock, but not too heavy. Just makes every other cars clutch feel too light, imo

I have ACT S/S clutch as well w/ a 8.5 lb flywheel and I love it.. no problem so far.

For your application, the ACT is prob the best suited. As for the best clutch that money can buy PERIOD, there's one and ONLY one answer to that: TILTON.

How are the centerforce dual-friction clutches ? The car is primarily used for AutoX and track-days, and dyno's 300 RWHP.

How about Mazdaspeed's dual-plate clutch ? Or too complicated ?

I think the Mazdaspeed is a rebadged Os Giken? It's too late for me to be thinking straight haha

had the centerforce dual friction for about 4 years and it get abused, i havent had any problems with it.
