Switched the ecu after getting code 13 which I think is the map sensor but can't find my manual. Still the exact same thing. Maybe the old map sensor that I used is also bad. More likely its the harness to the map sensor so this could be a bitch. Any other ideas and I'm sure there are lots of things that could make the map/pressure sensor code come up.

Fritz, I still think you should try replacing the fuel filter. If you can actually hear gas "circulating" under the UIM, I'd think that would be a signal of the fuel pump struggling to maintain proper fuel pressure at idle.

Kent,
I may just hook up an aftermarket fpr and see it that helps with the fuel pressure. The map sensor though is whats most likely causing the ill behaviour. Don't worry though I'm going to be given that filter some serious thought if she's not up and about after I figure out what is wrong with the pressure/map sensor.
