need help: knightsports ebs boost controller

so i picked up the ebsIV knightsports boost controller used a little while back, and now that i've gotten around to trying to install it - there are a few wires on the harness that have me confuzzled. for any of you guys out there who are using the ebs, your help would be appreciated

for the harness there were 3 wires that were cut.

I'm thinking 'B' used to connect with 'C', but they were spliced for some reason by the previous owner...perhaps to tap into some other equipment?

And I don't know what to make of 'A' either ^_^;;

on the other end, there is this connector with the 4 wires which connects to the ebs box. this yellow wire is off on its own.

following the install guide on clubRX for the ebsIII, i think this might be the green 'illumination' wire on the ebsIII version that just needs to be tapped to a 12v for light?

any ideas?
thanks in advance
