congrats on the purchase. sounds like you are a car collector and this should make a great piece for your collection (lucky lucky.) it's definitly going to be a blast to own. Good luck with your new REAL baby, as well. if you had an RX-7 longer, youd understand a little better what being a parent is like. they need a lot of attention or else they act up, throw fits, and refuse to do anything [maybe thats just my baby though.]
Seriously, congrats and good luck.
i feel so bad for the previous owner. i have my RX-7 (my pride and joy, my child for the past 4 years) up for sale, and whenever i see someones posted on my thread, i get butterflys in my stomach before i even open it. im afraid that one day i will have someone seriously wanting to buy it for what im asking for it. im also in a situation where i dont need to sell it at all, but if i could, i would. its only a car, and when its rusted into the earth is it really going to matter?
good luck on finding a replacement. i think you fully understand how rare your car was, but i think with some patience, you should be able to make a car as nice as that one. I must commend you on making one of the cleanest FD's ive ever seen. Good job, hopefully you keep up the good work.

I paid $26,900 new off the floor for my fd 94 r2 after trade of my 86 fc w.100k, recall there was a big push to sell the inventory and the dealers were motivated...30k if you need the $ is more than fair

hey guys it is sold.... it is bitter sweet to see it go... charley is a great guy and will be a good owner for the R2. I know it will be taken care of...so guys treat him good and point him in the right direction if he needs your help...another rx7 will be in my future one day... maybe I will bring one back from the dead and make it as clean....or I always could do a motor swap... you know, convert an ls1 fd back to a rotary

That is hilarious! Congrats on your sale! A good friend of mine here in town is getting rid of his single turbo FD for something else.. I think its a great buy. Runs pretty good but needs little body work. Here is the link to his sale... he's not to active about selling it.. and its been garaged most of its life.

Congrats on the new car.
