Thumbs up My review on the Pineapple Racing 6 puck clutch

I picked up the clutch a long time ago, with the GB. I bought it because I was going single, and knew the stock clutch would'nt hold together. So it sat on my work bench for some time. But over the course of a bunch of dyno tuning at Groundzero motorsports, and the drag strip, I've found that the stock clutch just won't hold 400+rwhp The stock clutch had 48k miles on it, so whent it finaly whent down at the drag strip, I did'nt feel to bad.

Anways, I resurfaced the flywheel, and put a new presure plate on at the same time. Install was straight forward and easy. My first thougths of the clutch was that its actually pretty easy to drive. Engagement was more aggresive than stock but not overly aggresive like other clutchs I've driven. ( non sprung hub 6 puck, 4 and 3 puck clutchs) I'm yet to realy drive the car hard as its been raining all day. But I hope to get a chance this weekend if the weather allows it.

Overall, so far I'm very happy with it and I'll report back on how it holds 400+rwhp. I can honestly say that I can daily drive this clutch. CJ

The weather finally broke this week, and I had a chance to driver my FD last night. My thoughts are: the clutch is something my wife could drive fairly easily. It is a bit more grabby, but still very easy to operate.

Running 12.5-14psi under WOT, the clutch does't even show signs of slipping. I realy like this setup overall, and highly suggest it to anyone looking for a daily driveable pucked clutch. As soon as I can get the car tuned fully, I'll be cranking the boost upto 16psi and see how it does. CJ
