My new Trust Ti exhaust and weight for those curious

Got this sucker new from RX7.com. Couldn't believe how light the damn thing is. Even with the silencer it comes in at 8.5 lbs(Silencer is 2lbs and the exhaust is 6.5). With the silencer installed it actually is quieter than the Greddy SP it just replaced. With it off, it is AWESOME! No droning or rattling and screams bloody hell when the 2nd turbo comes on. I'm running DP and hi-flow cat. A real good solid exhaust. Some pix:

I really like the way it is flush with the rear bumper unlike the pics I've seen with the Greddy rolled tip version. FWIW, this is the Ti-R 80mm with 115mm tip.

btw the way the amount the exhaust protrudes has a lot to do with what other piping you are running under the car. for example, my downpipe knocked off about 1 inch from the total length of my system, and made my exhaust tip sit more flush, like your picture.

From the pictures I've seen here of various Greddys, the difference is the mine has straight tip, silencer option and isnt as long. RX7.com is still in business and doing well.

Piping is the same, just a few dollars more. But ALOT cheaper than what RHDJapan is selling them for.

No, the weight was without the hangar. I'm guessing another pound or two. Well its not a balance scale which are the most accurate, but I do weigh myself everyday on it and check it regulary with weights.

I'd be interested in hearing a with and without silencer clip.

How easy is it to remove and put back the silencer?

How'd you score that exhaust? The Ti that they have on their website has the Greddy logo, not the Trust logo.

zenofspeed---very easy. its just 3 allen bolts postioned equally around the tip near the canister. you can barely see them in the close-up pix.

FuturePerfect---apparently they purchased a couple of them awhile back when the Greddy ones weren't available or something like that. Can't remember exactly what Chris at RP said. They stil have a few of them in stock.
