I did state above that its not finished product. I am still waiting for the side lights to be delivered and some clear covers too.

Someone made a very good point above about how strong the covers will be on high speed so i will be sorting them out with thin steel bars accross held down by a layer of fibreglass.

I have attached a pics with inside lights as they will look once the side lights are here.

As to the mod of the car the yes it has;
-- intake with GT3540
-- Big and louuuuud back box
-- V-mount setup
-- WI and ignition etc

sorry wrong place for spec info....keep your inputs comming good or bad as thats my reason to post here but please i dont want to go into any arguments etc. We all love our 7 as to what ever shape or state they are in hence a reason to be here.

cheers
Hey, I was just messing around when I laughed about the comment someone said about the country thing, as well as when I said something about your mods. No hard feelings. No, the kit is not my cup of tea, however the craftmanship is very clean. You did a good job on it. Hey, if you like it, that's all that matters. Keep up the good work!

I'd like to see a write-up, and an internal look at the light kit.

since there is no light on the outside, that might be a good place to add som ducting (always trying to drop those engine bay temps)

lol

looks good

UP is a small incorporated city sitting on the SW edge of Tacoma. Right along Puget Sound just south of the Narrows Bridge.

I got my first FD 8 days ago and look forward to meeting some of the NW guys locally.

I love this mod mate, looks great, better than the R-magic one IMO. BTW love the yellow FDs.

Heres a few pic of the r- magics if people are unsure of what hes trying to achieve. I think uckyno7s look even better.

Ok now that I'm done highjacking let me bring it back:

luckyno7,
I'm not a fan of the rmagic lights so I'm not a fan of these either. But that's just my taste.

I still give A+ for ingenuity, craftmanship, and originality. In other words good work. Props to people who make their 7's unique

That mod works well with your bodykit, looks really good.
I wonder about the force of air hitting all that at speed, though. I can't tell from the pics but is there any sort of ducting or openings inside that housing you have created to let air thru?

I like them, as you can tell from my front bumper I like the odd stuff that most don't like, I actually wanted those R-Magic lights but did not want to spend 2g's on it so I went with the Rotary Extreme kit.

What did you use as cover's for the top?

The key points are:

Does the owner like them?
How is the lighting at night?

If you don't like how they look, then simply ignore the thread or state that it isn't in your taste, but if the craftsmanship is good, try complimenting that. Seriously people, would it kill you to be slightly more positive in your lives?

My opinion; I am unsure on the styling as it doesn't seem to flow with the lines of the car, but it does look aggressive. I am very curious as to how the lighting came out. It looks to me like you took some time to make them look how you wanted. Good work.

Now show us some pics of the lighting pattern!
+1 on your response on this thread! Who cares what everyone thinks, as long as the owner is happy.

I used standard pop up covers, had to use the as they were no use with broken inside mounting points.

I also made some Re-amemiya style lights too(pics below) so now have 1 set of each.

Looks pretty cool luckyno7.

Ignore the dumbasses with the country remarks. Just a couple of bad apples.

Nice! Very different! It looks like the car is flirting with you or something. Nice to see something new.

THREAD JACK! (please forgive me )

I just sat down for lunch and saw those pictures.

I noticed the rear flare right away (that is what I'm trying to get my rear to look like)

is it possible that could actually be the rear quarter rolled out that far, or simply an over fender.

the closest thing that I have found is the burnout rear fender flares, which there is currently a GB going on (steel replicas instead of FRP.)

Would you be willing to post some clos-up pics of your modified headlights?

Will debris get caught in there? Do you think something as simple as a wet leaf could get stuck to a headlight inside that covered area and limit visibility greatly?

Just a couple of questions. The more I see it, the more I like it.

Damn those look cool. I love how you have projectors on the inside and another on the ouside. Looks like you did some amazing work with them and the RE style ones too.

I love the Rmagic ones as well, but I've never seen them in person and they are a lot of $$$.

You haven't answered yet, how's the light output and the pattern?
