My New 94 rx-7

I just got my Rx7 yesterday and am very happy with what I paid and what I recieved . This is a 1994 rx7 PEG, including the bose and sunroof, it is Montego Blue with tan interior. As you can see in the pictures it does not run, the engine has 90k on it and am now searching for a good quality and priced silicone vacuum kit, I plan on going with the kit from hose techniques for 108$. Going to put everything back together first and make sure i have all of the screws and bolts, also is a nice way to learn a bit about everything along the way.

Included with the car brand new...

Eibach Springs ( the guy before me planned on drifting the car, i dont so they are coming back off. 0 miles on the springs)
Mazda OEM rotors
4 brakepads, front and rear
4 OEM mazda oil filters
New NGK oem plugs
New OEM plug wires.
New Eagle F1 Ultra High Performance all seasons.

More than welcome to any words of advice and recomendations. Out now to get a battery/oil/redline and 2 more jackstands.

Any parts in specific that you're looking for? It appears that you're missing a few things in the engine bay...

ordered up the rebuild video from rotaryaviation.com on the 13b, I didnt get the one that was specific for the mazda rx7 twin turbo, i figure the shopbook should be satisfactory for that and the few pdf's I have downloaded. There was one from atkins rotary, is one better than the other?

You can't go wrong with the hosetechniques kit. I did mine in 2000 and they are still good as new.

hmm well i busted one of the valves off the solenoid, and another is completely missing. Im going to use high heat apoxy for the one but the other I cannot find at all. Is this a mazda only part? Im clueless where to find a solenoid or if i even have to worry about the valve (has a little screen on it)

Are you sure your car isn't a touring model? The PEG's didn't have a rear wiper. If your car came with oem fog lamps, its definitly a touring model.

If you get in over your head, let me know....you can always tow it up to us in Clifton

Thanks for the advice : ) So far is so good, ive labeled it all and after actually getting my hands dirty im a lot more comfortable with what I am working with, the diagrams really do make it seem like you are dealing with a wiring diagram when instead its all hoses ( I hate wiring). Also Goodfella do you only offer shop work or do you happen to sell parts as well? Im not trying to avoid a professional rebuild, but I really enjoy working on engines and the rotary is something I have always looked forward to so I am pretty excited to finally have one of my own. Helps to have a family of mechanics too I suppose lol.

Got a hold of Ray and ordered 2 solenoids, trying to piece together what gaskets I may need. Tough considering the car was partially disassembled.

new solenoids are about 40.00 from ray @ malloys. or you can find used ones from forum members. i used the hose techniques hose kit also. its worth the 108.00 comes with plenty extra hose.

i have extra solenoids lying around if you still need some and lots of pictures i took of my hose kit hose job. i just finished putting the car together and didnt have any problems with the hoses just a injector that got stuck closed after sending it out to get cleaned.

I'm sure you got the discount...mazda prices go up every month. The dollar is worth nada.

I just bought a CC solenoid from ray this week, and the list price on my receipt was $88.88 (I paid $50.90).

I ordered Monday morning, and I got my parts Tuesday afternoon.

Can't beat that!
