My last day with my FD

Gotta say....that's the best the car ever looked (looks alot like my car)....don't screw up a timeless beauty folks. It's a shame when young punks get their hands on this car and **** it all up.

Im taking this as a compliment bc im glad that my FD doesn't look like your FD anymore or any other FD as a matter of fact. Its all about being different but i do agree with you about keeping the FDs body as OEM as possible like i said before if i had another chance to own a FD it would be as stock as possible.
Here are some pics of the deal last night....
Taking off the Kinesis rims
After seeing the S14 in person and going through all the modifications and a test drive im some what happy. The car looks way better in person and needs a drop from going on the trailer.

sorry to hear you let the FD go. I used to own a 1997 S14. The car is great for daily but that KA engine can't deliver much when you come to modify your car. I sold my S14 and got FD. I'm happy ever since.

getting legal on a SR20 on S14 is pretty tough though. I hope you already know that. :-D . anyway sounds like you're pretty happy with the deal. I love your FD. I think I vote for it in the calendar thread the other day.

S14s... I actually like them. I think they look pretty good but still nowhere near as good as an FD. Performance wise I don't know jack about them so I won't comment.
I don't blame you for selling it though. IMO FD's are for people with good "disposable" income and most kids don't have that. When you're that young money should be spent in school, beer, spring break, not some broken down 15 year old car.
You made the right choice enjoy

He is on the forum already but don't know how active he's going to be on here.
He told me he's going to do a single turbo weekend car bc his friend is doing a LS swap so hes getting rid of all his single parts.

new owner here . This is not my first rx7 i have had about 6 but it is my first fd. The car is nice i got it as a shell but that is cool it will take some time and lots of money haha to get it on the street but no biggy. i plan to just get a rebuild with a nice single turbo and a good tune and some suspension, interior and some tires for my wheels. how it sits with my wheels on sits real high so i need some coils.
this is my front yard at the moment
And the last pic of my s14 which was a very fun car with tons of cash into it all name brand parts no ebay stuff i will miss it i just finished the car and never got to drive it. I normally like my cars clean and simple with all the money going to the most important parts of the car ie brakes, motor, suspension ect

Post a build thread when you get all the parts in.
I had fun yesterday putting the S14 back together and lowering it back to where it used to be but im not done yet.
The FD looks sick though.
It looks alot cleaner with out the all the stickers

Its a built S15 SR20 NA and was told it revs up to 9.5k but i don't think i'll take it up that far.
Most of the parts are from Greddy and Tomei.
I'll try to get some pics of everything later on today

NA SR20 aren't that bad this car revs fast all the way to 9k and it also has the strongest tranny out of all the SR trannys. This car really has a lot of money put in to it i mean like all the parts you could upgrade with the suspension, engine, interior, exterior is all done and with real name brand parts not like most 240s that has alot of fake and replica parts. It also has a good sound system too.
I basically traded him a clean FD shell for a clean well modded running S14.
That S15 is sick though i actually have that picture saved on my comp already.
