Yeah. I think it's cool of Mazda to do this. Not to direct this as an insult in any fashion or form, the man still claims his exterior components are that of original FEED when actually they are by Chuck of Rotary Extreme. Also I think it's ironic that Mazda would say that Jay Laub's FD is a '97 model.

Your friends car is very nice and I'd like to give him kudos for being the only car I could see a clean shot of the engine bay that actually pulled cold air in rather than just some short "flashy" pipes with colorful "K&Ns" on the end sucking heatwaves out of the engine compartment.
Why are show car/tuners so obsessed with sucking hot air into their engines?

AS far as i remeber, those two cages on the passanger side are for tuning, How many of us are actually look at the gauges while driving anyway, most of us use has it for bling factor, except for the boost gauge of course lol

Besides, with turbocharged cars it doesn't really matter if you pull in cold air through the intakes because the air will become hot after passing through the turbo(s). That is why you have an intercooler.
