Nice Z06...still like the FD better tho...
See, the Body Side Moldings (BSMs) really bother some people, but I don't mind them. My brother (has a Yellow Z06) hates them however. I'd remove them; however, I don't want the paint to look different underneath.

Thanks, Leo. Did you ever sell your car?

damn your fd was really nice, but congrats on the new car but you have to agree that you FD looking nicer than the Vette ... maybe its just question of taste, but the fd is difficult to beat.

IMHO, the FD is better looking than just about any roadworthy car. I dunno, I guess my issue is "how much horsepower is too much horsepower"? Is the 'vette even streetable? I think that ~400 rwhp in any car under 3500# is a handful. But I guess you're used to it, eh?

Wow, you got a lot for your FD. Congrats on the Z06 though. Where did the buyer see your car, Ebay?

While I agree that my FD was a "better" looking car as a complete package (very expensive paint job and nice wheels), the Vette has its own advantages since it's practically a new car. If I could've had a choice between putting an LS6 in my FD or selling it and buying the Z06 (and the time frame would have been the same in either case) I would have chosen to do the LS6 in the FD; however, the time frame was not going to allow that.

Regarding power, 400 rwhp V8 power is much different than 400 rwhp Single Turbo Rotary power. I'm not making that much power now (prob about 360 rwhp), but regardless I can modulate the throttle and control how much power to produce. My experience with my FD was that it was pretty much a toggle switch. Maybe it's all in the tuning, but I'm sure it would never be as smooth as it is with the Vette.

It all depends on what you're looking for. I wanted something more streetable and new that has the potential to make a lot more power reliably and on pump gas.
