My FD featured in Vmax / Denmark

I am Very excited to finally be able to show you all my '94 FD in the December issue of Vmax here in Denmark. I noticed on the back of passed issues, Vmax asked readers to contact them about having their cars featured in the magazine..... I gave it a try.

I met up with the Chef Editor at our local airport and 2 hours later it was all over. He wrote a very nice article with some humor too! Sorry it's in Danish. There are a few misprints, 0.8 bar was really 0.9 bar, 1400kg should on been 1250kg and the tuners name was from an old dyno sheet but who cares!!! My car made it in and I'm very, very happy and hope you guys enjoy the photo's minus some text.....

//Oliver

It's nice to see a clean and sharp FD in a magazine. All the import mags over here only seem to show cars that have 500 pounds of fiberglass hanging off of them .

Congrats!

Very nice! It's great to an FD in the mags again no matter what language it's written in!

Good stuff . I am impressed with the photography and how they integrated multiple photos into the back and foreground.

Oliver and I were both looking for Volks and I was VERY close to getting the CE28n as the wheel weight is so low...

but I ended up getting the Volk SF winning with the Rays Metal Coat (RMC) which I guess looks like the "black chrome" people have been talking about.

Hopefully, I won't have to wait as long as Apneablue to get the Volks...

In short, he talks most about me moving to Denmark from the US and how anul I am about keeping it clean! ha.... The car is slightly modded compared to many on this forum. We only have 5+ FD's in Denmark. With the tax system here, Cars of this kind a VERY exspensive (120-180% tax). My FD cost 20,000 doller from CA in 1999. After taxes plus mod's, it cost me well over 50,000$. Kinda sad to think if I was still back home. I could have had a 3 rotor like David Hayes with Pettit Racing....oh well. that's the way thing go in life and the decision I made.

When I have more time I might translate it...

It's a med Spearco intercooler with a CF intake I made myself. At the time I changed my intercooler, the V-mounts were just coming out . Would love to try a vmount one day.

a better photo-

Yes, to see so many other FD's featured over the years. It's pretty cool to open a mag and see your own is very special.
Thanks

I have considered buying the Greddy pipe and y-pipe kit, as well as single turbo but I'm going to take a break from modding my FD for awhile. If anything, maybe a fuel pump, then I'm thinking about getting back into some kind of road racing again. Not sure what kind because we don't have clubs like the SCCA here in Denmark, which I did race in the States many years ago for a short time.
Thanks for asking, take it easy
Oliver
