Nice work. I'm thinking of going with the R.E. Vmount myself. I wonder if it would be possible to convert my M2 Large SMIC & my Koyo Radiator into a Vmount setup.

That tranny cooler should work for a ps cooler. I used a similar inline ps cooler with my v mount set up. I posted pics of it on nopistons if you want to search for it and take a look. It has worked out very well.

Looks like it is coming along nicely, good job.
Why did you create a cradle around the rad instead of independent mounting points?
Is there a benefit to this, or is it simply to retain stock mounting points?
Do you have a pic of the “cradle” by itself, and maybe one looking up from below the car with radiator installed?

thanks guys,
was that at me,
RX7 RAGE, if everything gets welded by monday i will be at fusion tuesday with the 7
xxxtodxxx, the bottom outlet is going to be closed of and a new one will be placed on the new upper end tank
AgentSpeed, i saw that type of cooler in your pictures a while ago but did not remeber what the cooler was being used for thats why i asked thanks.
rotarypower101, i made the mounts that way because the radiator was sitting a little lower than stock and was not sure if it would scrape or hit anything so i wanted to make the mounts stronger, not in the pics but i have a piece of 2-1/2" angle aluminum thats going to connect the two mounts together.

i took more pictures of setup with the ducting finished since i had to remove everything to smog the car, also i ended up using a fd tranny oil cooler to cool the power steering and havent had any problems with it.

wow. if buy any chance could you tell us how much you have wraped up into this v-mount? from the pics this thing looks very well put together. also go you put the unit in one whole piece like is in the pics or do you have to break it you piece by piece in order to install.

Awesome work. I am really impressed. Have you thought about the possibility that with that ducting being totally closed in the rear that you might trap air at any significant speed? Seems to me that you should have some outlet for the air to pass otherwise that could create a 'dam' effect and put drag on the car.

I'm sorry wha?
Wow I gotta say thats an amazing job man. Very impressive and clean setup. Do you mind if I copy it? I was going to attempt a V mount setup over winter. Do you think you could share some dimensional info on that bad boy? But I would definitely do all the ducting in carbon fiber simpy becasue it woudl look a little better...or would it?
