mud guard hardware?

I just purchased new mud guards for my 7. It did not come with any kind of fastners. Does anyone know what size nuts and bolts or screw and fastners are needed?

Yeah, it is is f----in cold! It goes from a very brief fall to winter here all to quick!

I see the adhesive strips on it and the holes but no screws. What do the screws go into? Does it just screw into the body??? I hate to put any holes into the car that are not already there.

I just put mine back on. I used #8 3/4 inch screws. But my FD already had the holes made.

Here are pictures of the factory hardware that comes with the mudguards. The fronts are the three black plugs (pic shows hardware for one mudguard). The rears have three different size plugs two white and one black (pic shows hardware for one mudguard).

The car should already have the holes, the front mudguards require you to remove and replace the two screws circled. The other holes should be square in shape.

If you want to see snow come here we had 35cm (14 inches) fall in 24 hours the other day and yesterday it was -28C (-18F) with the wind chill. At least it is suppose to be around or above 0C for the weekend. No more driving the FD anymore though

Actually, you only need to remove the bottom one of the two screws. One screw goes into the wheel well, and the other two go into the guard into the bottom of the car. At least on mine.

Whoops my mistake, yuichiror you are correct. One screw goes into the wheel well and the other two go into the rocker.

Yep I need the plastic pieces that go into the rocker of the car, one of them actually sticks down a bit (like a stand off) If anyone has a part number for the kit's (front/rear) please post it up. Thanks, Jack

Jack in the installation instructions that I have from my mudguards they refer to the black and white plugs as "Grommet Screws". The size of the black ones listed in the installation instructions is M5 and the screws for them are M5x12. The size of the small white ones are also M5 with packing (a rubber washer) with screws M5x12. The large white ones are M4 with packing and a screw size M4x12.

The black grommet screws you can most likely find in an auto parts store I believe some automakers use them for securing the back license plate. I don't know if you get the HELP products in the U.S., it is misc. car parts like window *****, wheel well liner plugs etc. It is in red packaging you might find them there.

I don't have a parts number listed on the installation instruction for the hardware but I can scan the instructions for you if you like.

The part number for the front mudguards is FD01 V3 450 and the rears is FD01 V3 460. With these numbers a Mazda dealership maybe able to find the hardware part numbers.

When I bought mine a couple of years ago, they didn't come with any mounting hardware either, I bought a few plastic nuts/bolts from my local hardware store for maybe $1.00, if that.
