2 bov?

1 charge
1 relief

now i might be a dumbass now, but correct me if i am wrong.....

why put 2 bov on the car in the place, and 2 types at for that matter. it is not necessary, and would be overkill, that is unless you were running higher than normal boost.

You could replace both with aftermarket BOVs. They function the same although there may be a slight valve cracking difference, but I'm pretty sure 15" vac is plenty enough to actuate. I would only replace the BOV.

Actually the the BOV and CRV operate totally differently (even though they are basicaly the same) the BOV opens on close throttle when there is vaccum down stream of the Throttle Body AND positive Pressure Upstream of theTB, the CRV is opened by the CR Solenoid during the PRESPOOL phase of the Primary/Secondary turbo Transition.

Exactly, I was simply pointing out that physically they are the same as well as function. Just different part numbers and names.
