Minor Resto Body Issues

Hello Peeps,
Going to start working on my CYM and here are three issues that are on the hit list.

Cracked/Flaked Paint from fender rolling:
I am thinking I may just replace the front two fenders. However, replacing the rear quarters isnt that easy so I think I should find a way to unroll the fenders a little and get some rust protection (POR15 perhaps) in the crease. Anybody have different ideas?

Dented Fenders (Proly from the fender rolling)
Proly replacing them as mentioned above. Suggestions?

Semi Crushed/Bent Rocker Pinch Welds
I believe I saw some people using various pliers to straighten the pinch weld. Sounds like a decent fix. I plan to straighten them as good as possible, sanding them down and rust proofing them. Maybe POR15 again.

Oh and make that four issues.
I have the infamous CYM paint fade. Has anyone gotten a CYM painted the stock color and have an *estimate* or the actual price they paid for the job?

Thank you guys in advance for any words of advice.

It's a tricky one. That rust isn't so bad that it can't be fixed. Same goes for the dents.

I see a few ways this could be handled -

1. Mask up, coat just the inner lip with a rust converter (like POR15 or any of a zillion other products out there). Prime that area, and paint it. Since it's up under the lip of the fender, you really won't see it, but you do want to address it before the rust gets worse. Live with the dents, or try and have a paintless dent shop work on them.

2. New fenders. That's going to be a body shop bill to have them painted. Then the paint won't match the rest of the car, and on and on.

3. Body shop fixing and repainting the fenders. Again, cost.

For the frame rails, you can probably use wide-jaw vice grips to clamp down and get them straight, then POR-15 or something on them. That's from someone using a jack on the frame rails, which I hate.

On the paint fade, it MIGHT be able to be buffed back to its original color depending on the condition of the paint. May want to find someone locally that details cars either super hardcore hobbyist or a local pro. Might cost some good money, but could be cheaper than a repaint.

Of course, best results are a full car repaint and body work, but that's not cheap, obviously.

Depending on your budget, I would suggest to get used, unrolled fenders or go buy new. Since you have the paint issues anyway, a repaint may be the best route. It may run your 5-7k for a good paint job.

I'd go for new fenders, the labor fixing those would probably be as much as buying new ones.

Pick a shop that has nice cars in it, cost varies by area and quality. I'd guess $6-8k for a top quality paint job, windows out, bumpers, head light covers, mirrors, wing off, jambs painted.

CYM is really hard to match so i would suggest getting everything done at once.
