nice info.....so, i spent a whole day at work sketching a charge cooler set up...... pretty musch the same idea, square ic, in a fluid box...ie, the intercooler sides are protuding and channeled to flow gloycogin through the chambers.....using a pump to circulate the fluid....
i will draw a rough sketch of what is on my mind.....
thanks mahjik for the valuable info. thank to all who responded. I will submit my scetch shortly...

My only question is why? In your original setup I see some problems thick IC with little airflow will get heat soaked and not work that well. The air exiting the radiator has no place to go and would likely create a bubble of high pressure limiting the airflow to the intercooler and radiator further adding to you heat exchange woes.
Going liquid cooled isn’t going to be better either unless you have a system that going to significantly cool the liquid below ambient. For anything other than a drag car with an ice cooled system this is almost impossible. Liquid could IC are never as efficient as air cooled as crazy as that sounds. Initially they work well until the system heats up, the problem is getting the heat out of the liquid coolant and back to the IC. As space is at a premium and heat is problem this isn’t going to happen. The end result will be a complicated system that isn’t as effective as a FMIC or VMIC. Additional if it breaks ping, there goes your motor.
Trust me I did a lot of research on the liquid cooled option when it was suggested to me. I found no credible evidence that it would be better than air-cooled aside from the system which uses ice.
Just google intercooling and you will find load of highly technical information.
