Metered oil line and thermostat fun!!

Well a few months back I noticed something wet under my UIM on top of the engine. I thought it was water but after further inspection found it to be oil. Yes a metered oil line had busted ( top of engine end).
At the same time I looked down to where my bottom radiator hose is connected to the engine and noticed horrible coolant stains all over the place. Yes a leak caused from a bad thermostat. So into surgery she went.

My thoughts -
Well as you can imagine the metered oil line was a right *** to get to, I likened it to going down on a girl who aint changed her knickers or shaved for 7 yrs, the absolute pubic representation was truly a sight to behold and climbing through it was a tuff task, but I got it done.

The thermostat was easy, but an interesing note was that the faulty one I pulled out had 'FRANCE' stamped into the side of it, when I compared it to the brand new one it was hell different to the point where the guy at Mazda reckoned I had brought the wrong one in!!

Anyway, surgery was a success and she is recovering well, I hope to have her out by the weekend.

cheers
Krisso

That's hilarious! Didn't your father ever teach you to avoid those nasty hoes?
