metalic converter with airtube?

Anyone know where to get a metal cat with the air tube port?

Ive heard it said that they don't need the air tube, but are they available?

Thanks...

The JDM ones will have the air tube. You may be able to special order one from SMB. Send them an email.

They will not be CARB certified and they don't have to be. Pre OBD-II vehicles have no restricitions on installing aftermarket cats.

Thats not correct, PRE OBDII vehicle aftermarket cats for CA must also be CARB certified.

But they don't need to be per vehicle certified, they are certified to a displacment and GVWR limit for the type of cat (2way,3way,3way+oxy). So they can be universal in that regard.

Its appendix K6 of the Smog manual.
