Yep, there were Mazdapseed diffusers created for the FD. I just got the rear one installed. Waiting for the front one to arrive from FDNewbie. Damn boat is really slow!!!
Mazda should have incorporated these pieces into the car. They finish the car off nicely!

That's the thing guys... Mazdaspeed has stopped building them!
If you can, notify FDNewbie and see if he can still get them. He made an annoucment late September regarding Mazdaspeed parts. They've stopped building alot of parts and the diffusers were the first ones to go.
As for price... well, this is Mazdaspeed equipment, so you know it's not cheap.
Thanks to FDNewbie I was able to get the front diffuser for less than $800. Yes, that's right, less than $800US! lol Told you they're not cheap.
Come spring, when I have the front one installed, I'll take some pics.
The rear looks so much more complete now that I have the rear diffuser. Very sexy!!

RaceDriver7,
Here's the link pertaining to 7racers experience with the rear diffuser.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...speed+diffuser
I have to thank 7racer for the pics he took of his installation. Helped alot when I was installing mine. I hope he had time to finish the rear end and get the valance cut.
The pics of the finished product will have to wait till next year. The car is put away for winter. Plus I haven't received the front diffuser yet. But I know it's on the boat and it's making its way slowly over here.
adam_c,
I told you it wasn't going to be cheap. Some people like getting parts that are functional and give the car that extra touch of uniqueness.
Nothing beats a factory part thats been tested.
Nothing is ever worth what we have to pay. Such is life.
I for one think this finishes the car off really nicely. It gives the FD an aggressive stance.

There are plenty of things in life that are worth every penny .

I (we) have and authentic one on hand. Actually friend had two and used one so one is left.
The idea would be that I would use the authentic ones and have it replicated. I said something about 800$? I don't think so.
The diffuser completely covers the underside and is intended for use with the 99spec bumper which seems to be the most popular "aftermarket" (not really aftermarket but I am sure you know what I mean).
To produce it I would have been looking to see if there were 10 people interested.
Edit: I would have asked if anyone was interested about the rear diffuser but his is modified it has sections like on the RE so def not like what is shown in the pics.
