I think they are on of the best wheels Mazdaspeed "designed" but everyone has their own taste.

as for max boost - the question is what is efficient boost. The japanese rule of thumb seems to be 0.9bar (13.1psi) for power/longevity - people do run more than that, though.
start doing some reading - or you'll soon be in trouble - you'll find this will be a far harder car to safely modify - compared to your mr2. Much better bang for buck - but you have to be a lot smarter about it - you just can't up the boost and run - this is particularly true for a later version JDM FD - as the safety buffer is much lower than the older FDs.
"is it true if you inplug the ecu the airbags could pop out?" no

Actually I was referring to the mr2 rims. but performance wise the FD benefits the most from 17 inch rims. But it's not like you lose very much when you switch to 18's. Everything else being equal: It takes a little bit more inertia to move an 18" vs a 17" wheel.

If you must go any bigger with wheels switch up to an 18" wheel at most, trust me it will more than fill the wheel wells/arches (im running 18" wheels right now and any bigger would rub on my car). I would go with either gold or some black w/ a polished lip would look evil.
Really nice car, my car and i are completely jealous
