Those damn plastic interior tabs are about 6 bucks each. Their cost is like 1.25. The dealers are major rip offs!! Thats were it pays off to shop around and check on the forum for parts. I know Malloy has good prices for OE parts.

I emailed mazda support and bitched at them for the high prices saying WTF this car makes us broke enough why charge up the *** for small parts. HAHA i just needed to vent on them. i got a reply let me see if i can find it.

While it is true that the dealerships mark items way up, Mazda is just as much to blame. In my earlier example of the R1 strut tower bar: List price is over $900. Dealer cost is over $500. Mazda has to be making over $400 after costs on that one.

It's well within the right of the dealerships to mark stuff up - that's how they make their profits. If you're dumb enough to PAY that much with so many alternatives, that's another story.

Just go price some Porsche parts if you want to feel better .
