Low boost with project FD...
Guys,
Last night I exchanged my old SMIC with a (new) used SMIC. The previous owner (my cousin) told me that he thought it had IC damage from the front end crash he had. Well it didn't seem to have anything wrong with the IC. My cousin new less about this car than I do already.
During the exchange I did find a duct that had a loose hose clamp. Buttoned everything back up, tightened all the hose clamps in the area and fired it up.
Before this, all it was able to do was make about 2 psi with a large whooshing of air under the hood when the turbos started making boost.
Now I get about 5 or 6 psi with basically the same whooshing. I suspect the loose clamp I found upped the boost, and am hoping the whooshing is simply another clamp(s) that is loose. Questions, comments, suggestions, concerns?
As an added note, I have a Cummins Turbo Diesel truck, so I think the turbo should be more of a similar whistling noise (like my truck's) versus a whoosh. But I'm not sure, my diesel's turbo is a single and I'm guessing much larger so I am not for sure what it should sound like.
Lastly, there is a strange buzzing sound when I'm deccelerating and the rpms hit about 3,700 rpm. It seems to buzz for about 3/4 of a second or for about 100 to 200 rpm loss.
Any comments you can give me, I will apprieciate. I need to learn (about FD's) and get this car straightened out.

Take out all the rubber couplers and turn them inside out to make any cracks visible. Look Make sure the clamp edge didn't cut into the coupler. Any coupler with a crack through it must be replaced. (Can't really be fixed). Inspect the rubber elbows, etc with similar scrutiny. Anything from the turbos to the I/C to the throttle elbow will need thorough inspection.

Thanks to you guys and that website above, I found the below. Then I was digging around in a box with a bunch of spare parts and found another hose/pipe to the intercooler with a coupler to the Y-Pipe that wasn't cracked! Installed and it runs like a ... well it runs dern good. Leading to more questions. But first, take a look at the crack.
How much boost do you think that crack would hold? It would hold about 4 or 5 psi. I found a spare hose and used its coupler.
