Lost my lock cylinder...can another cylinder be rekeyed for my key?

Yes.
I took one apart, then using my key-- set the gates one by one to work with the key.
Simple and any locksmith can knock it out if you don't want to mess with it.

Yep. Been there, done that. It's super easy for most any locksmith to do. Just take them the cylinder and the key you want to work in that cylinder, they put in new shutters and done.
They can typically do it while you wait for a few bucks.

Yes, it is actually quite easy to do yourself, once you take the lock apart and study it a bit. I was fascinated by the whole deal, actually. Of course, a locksmith can do this in minutes...but where is the fun in that?
