LHD Spirit R !!!

Why chop a Spirit R and mate it to a left hand drive body? If cars in Taiwan are left hand drive, why did the person not get an FD from there and switch the necessary parts from the Spirit R???. Seems to me that this is exactly what was done. You need all the interior plastics from a left hand drive car (Spirit R plastics face the other way).

But then the rest of your post wouldn't make sense.

Well as with the VIN stuff, they may have imported a Spirit R, and just forged the paper work using a different VIN from a legal FD for registration, thus replacing all of the VIN markings with the other car's stuff. I always though about doing that if I were to import a car, to get it registered.

It looks like it's smaller diameter, so it'd fit me better in the car

Not really commenting on whether I think it's real or not, but the wheels are Spirit-R Type B whereas the seats are from a Type-A, right? I have not yet seen a Spirit-R with those items from two different models mixed like that.
