Austin, I'm not here to argue with you. My purpose was to point out what really happened.

After the engine blew on the dyno, the mechanic took the car back to his place. He did not charge your friend for the dyno time. He did not charge your friend for the tow truck needed (~$100). That came out of his own pocket.

You know, it's people like you who make him want to get out of the business....

Oh ****. Those are some good tidbits to know. Where you getting this info Roofus?

How can you blame a kid that does donuts around a bunch of 30k+ cars saying he is testing to see if his couplers are gonna come off?

1. I did pay for the dyno (all $300 of it)
2. He tryed to drive it back to his shop with a blown engine, but it tottaly shutdown after being halfway there, then he towed it (which I payed for) which he should have done in the first place.
3.I don't wanna put him outta business but it isn't fair he is treating his customers this way.

Treating them how? Your car took a **** on the dyno. It could of happened when your friend got the car back and drove it hard. If it was faulty equipment that caused it, then again it is your fault. The dyno shop isn't there to tune cars. Just to measure a cars performance. They strap it on and floor it. They assume that because you are dynoing it, it is in ok shape to run it to the max What am I missing here?

I just love to hear Defendant Company Representatives/Owners/Employees state under oath, in front of the Judge and Jury, when "they assume" anything. Makes them (their work) look incompetent and usually makes the "A CAUSE", not THE CAUSE OF THE OCCURRENCE" an easy negligence instruction/issue for the Jury to answer.
