For the Pettit car, they actually cut the drive-shaft and move the 20B back like PFS 20B car.
The kit Pettit sells for 20B conversions does move the engine forward. It requires $2100 for the engine cradle and spindle exchange. You'll also need to move the rack out of the way of the front cover.
Beside the weight distribution being slightly off, you'll have bump steer since the rack is moved, yet the rest of the suspension arms are in the stock position.
The newer Pettit 20B car may incorporate their kit, but from what I've heard from reputable rotary tuners, the Petit 20B car they saw did NOT have the engine cradle installed.

The red 20B picture looks like Derrick's car from San Antonio. He used a T66 (it's been some time since I last looked into a 20B conversion) I believe. He came to Austin to dyno his car at Protech and put some nice torque numbers down at fairly low boost.
