Kudos to Ray Crowe

I have my 93 VR FD in the body shop getting work done from the a-hole who backed up his GMC Denali (license plate "SZEMATERS") on top of it.

Anyway, it's been in the shop for over a month, I called and they said they found more damage when they tore it apart. They said they have the parts ordered, but they are backordered. I asked how long, and they said "who knows it could be months". They said they did a "nationwide search" and no Mazda dealers in the US had the parts.

So, I called Malloy Mazda, and bingo, they had the parts in stock. Now my car is fixed thanks to Ray and the guys at Malloy.

Ray is the MAN. And kudos to all the fine folk at Malloy Mazda. They definitely are a major part of "keeping them on the road".

Kind of like Victoria British is for English sports cars. You just HAVE to have these sort of places.

I've run into the same situation a while back on another vehicle. Their "nationwide search" only means they called a few distributors that they deal with on a regular basis. And it seems their contacts are always slow as hell.

Malloy can get you pretty much anything, and have it on your doorstep in a matter of days. You pay a price for it, but the cost of waiting months from someone else is not worth saving a couple pennies!!!!

Not really, Malloy has always been cheaper then any other dealer when I talked to Ray himself and ordered parts.

+1

Ray knows his stuff...fast and friendly to work with. Service is great. Shipping is very cheap and if not, free shipping depending on item. Get in 2-4 days for me.

He is on my cell phone! Dont leave home without the number.

Their isnt anybody in the Mazda parts network that is more knowledgeable, more service oriented, or has better pricing than Malloys Ray Crowe. He has bent over backwords to work with me for all my parts needs.

I make it a point to tell him how much I appreciate how awesome his service is on a regular basis.

Thanks Ray!!!! U da man!

I have had him on speed dial in my phone for some time now. #2, right after voicemail... right before my girlfriend. she took offense to that.. untill she looked at the reciepts from malloy and realized how much money he has saved me and how many headaches too. Besides, the FD and her are a threesome she can handle.

and as for Ray Crwoe being the shiznit..

Duh!

I have his number written on the wall in my garage. I laugh at some of the prices the big local Mazda dealership. Plus you don't have to deal with the people at the parts desk there. Ray knows what you need even if you don't know the exact part number. Dealerships around here are clueless to the FD.

Ray rocks, got me an FC thermoswitch in 1 day for about half of "list price". He must be mazda parts salesman of the year with all the money FD owners spend with him.

Thumbs up Ray Crowe

Yup !!

Ray is a great guy to deal with. Great prices and service! I've ordered a lot of stuff from him.

When I got my replacement (Mazda reman) water pump from him last winter, the first one I got had been very heavily pitted from corrosion and was sandblasted within an inch of it's life. It looked like it might have been so rough that the shaft seal might not seal to the housing. I called Ray, and he sent me another one (turned out to be in much better condition) and an RGA UPS label to send the other one back, so all this cost me nothing except for a little delay.

Try getting that service from any other dealer!
