Knight Sports FD800Ti titanium exhaust

Just want to give big shoutout to purerx7 at rx7boutique.com for hooking me up with a sweet deal on this gorgeous exhaust. Bryan did a great job of packaging the thing...took me longer to unwrap the thing than installing it!

My review on this - it's Knight Sport so the construction/quality looks fantastic and the titanium tip with oval shaped canister looks very subtle and won't attract unnecessary attention. I put this on my scale and it's only 11.2lbs...amazing!

The only complain i have is that it's too quiet for my taste. My car had the RB dual tip exhaust and the sound level is exactly the same. Very tame. I have a highflo cat, thinking about going straight pipe to make the thing a little louder.

Here are some pics...I'll get a sound clip soon.

I saw it in the for sale thread and it seemed like the tip was too small for my taste.

But your pictures make it look so much better, the tip size is bigger than I thought, it looks fantastic.

BTW: A straight pipe could be too loud if you're coming from an RB-high flow combo, you might want to consider a resonated pipe instead.

Nice, sound clip? Don't they make one with a rotor shape tip instead of a round?

Did you do anything to mend the dent in the pipe? A blowtorch and a lever could probably get it close to where it started.

Gorgeous, looks even better installed. Might want to try a resonated midpipe, or throw a borla xr-1 in a straight pipe. This is jasma certified so it obeys all sound requirements in Japan, the re-amemiya ti is probably even quieter.

Thank you for the kind words and your support of Rx7 Boutique.
