I was suprise, you guys did not install the vent hood and plan to use A048, is those tires shave ? wht not hoosire? is because plan to use one set of tires only?

eh....I've been trying to get Steve to part with those wheels for a few years while they sat collecting dust in his shed. He wants a premium amount to part with them.

We couldn't use the Hoosiers because they have been outlawed for the event. Money was getting tight so we did all we could do. If I had to guess I would think about 6 grand has been put into this car just in last few weeks. The pictures do not due the car justice.

 

They already allow crazy engine management systems, computer controlled suspension, and audio systems, why wouldn't they allow Racelogic TC? ANd by the way, most drag strips don't like when you put down a liquid of any sort on the track other than water for a burnout. Maybe heating up the tires in the water gives you traction.
Looking at the interior, I think you guys might lose a few points in the show car aspect. I'm sure the other cars there are gonna have "phat ICE," crazy paint, etc. Also, remember, innovation counts so anything you've DIY'd must be very well executed.

On the other hand, last year, a very stock Supra did very well...

Yeah that is a sweet FD. I've seen it up at the shop last few times I've been by. I hope yall kick some major *** this yr guys. With Steve at the wheel it should be a good run for the other guys there too.

 

welp, from the looks of things, what you lose in the show part will be WELL made-up for in the guru panel. once the wheels look a little snazzierim sure itll do a little below the midpack. but then again, i dont know what the other cars look like.

to give some hope, the first year a rotary datsun took first, and it was not made to be a show car, just SUPER clean. then last year it was an ultima GTR in second, it also want made to be a showcar. i would tell you about the second year, but i cant find the article on it.

well they have done basketball,baseball and other sports but it seems that there's none for the cars.

well from the look at the engine bay it's come with it because there's 2 air intake in there. or did i see it wrongly??

 

i only see one K&N style filter and one pipe going into the intercooler so i'm still only counting one turbo

 

i only see 1 filter...

to tell you honestly i duun know nuts about turbos that much especially when it comes to ball bearings. so i hope to learn more from this forum.

 

Let me see from what i hear that the BB turbo's spool kick in really a lot during the secnd gear at 3000 RPM. am i right?
