a killer rotary in The SCC Ultimate Street Car Challenge..congrats to Gotham Racing

Seems that we finally have a strong rotary challenger going in the Sport Compact Car Ultimate Street Car Challenge. Gotham Racing's red single turbo fd is being driven by Steve Kan for this years event.

I don't know about you all but my cash is on the rotary this year. Ive seen the car and it has every mod I can think of. It is owned by Goodfellas roomate (Jason) and is an absolutely gorgeous machine. The craftsmanship on the car is awesome and it is going to be a hell of a competitor.

Best of luck to you guys over there. I am sure everyone here is going to be rooting for you.

I would love to see a mod list from that car as well as some pics. So spill the beans k? Let's hear some more info!!

congrats

Jason

I tried to get a contingent going for the USCC a little while ago, but noone would bite.

Congratulations to Gotham for getting into the USCC. I know i will certainly be rooting for them. I hear that USCC is pretty tough on cars so hopefully the FD will hold together.

Best of luck and i can't wait for this to go down.

Something tells me that Genghis may turn somewhat better lap times than me

Jason has a dual BB T-66 setup, ported motor, Brembo Big *** brake kit, HKS Coilovers, custom fuel setup with dual pumps and 850s/1600s, 3.5 inch downpipe, and a slew of other stuff. Removed p/s and a/c, momo seats, diff brace, everything polished or ceramic coated, aem c2di, aem standalone, about 8 gauges, etc etc. Best of all, NO nasty wing or body kit. Just 99 lip and rear lights. Oh, and he may run my Fikses

I think that he'll take a big hit on the emissions and granny test, but with Steve driving and the h2o inj on tap (a *real* anti detonation device) i think the car will dominate the performance tests if everything holds together.

I tip my hat to Gotham and crew for entering the competition. I've never seen Steve (Genghis... aparrently) Kan drive, but good luck to him. Dual T-66's would put out enough power to scare the **** outta any driver, thats just crazy.

Good luck guys, I'll be rooting for you.

Steve is one of the best drivers I've ever seen on a road course. He also has spent a little bit of time at a drag strip

Just to clarify, the setup is a dual ball bearing T66 Turbo, as in one turbo .
