Damian did you use any fuel line for an insulator on the secondaries? I have the same set up and when I installed I used some fuel line (per Keiths recomendation) as an insulator. I also used Newberns spacers. Make sure you pressure test the system well for leaks before making any long road trips. It took me a few tries to get it all to seal and hold pressure.

yep, that is what im sayin. The o-ring only seals with the sleeves, it never contacts the housing.
When you originally said:
3) The kit came with 2 sets of spacers for the new injectors. One set was a little taller than the other set. Do the taller ones go on the 720s or the 1680s?
which did you use for the secondaries? Could it have been that you used the shorter ones and they were for the primaries? I guess it's nothing that a few minutes on a belt sander couldn't remedy though. It should just need to be short enough so that the o-ring bottoms out on the housing and not the injector body on the sleeve..

To G's 3rd Gen: I think that Kieth supplies the fuel system for the rx7store. It's hard to tell but the pics on the site look just like his stuff. So whatever goes on here will probably be applicable, although most people don't choose to upgrade their primary injectors.

i put the longer ones on the primaries as guided by shawn (earlier post in this thread) and that did seem right, but im not sure.

I would do that, but the only things that seems goofy is that if i do that, the injector will be able to go down further (as the sleeve is stopping it from going down further) and i think it will hit the injector body on the outside of the housing before the oring seats....? does this sound possible even? either way, maybe monday ill

No the sleeves go down into the LIM to clean up the slop around the seat.

I did that the first time I installed my injectors. It didnt take long for them to curl up on themsleves from the heat and start leaking. If you start having problems order the sleeves and switch it out.

back from the dead...I installed the 1600s a while ago, but I didn't use the stock diffusers, was anyone able to make the diffusers work with the 1600s? I don't think I have the sleves either. to seal the injector to the LIM I used a slither of heater hose.

Return everything and bore out some new 850s to 1200 and run about 12lbs of boost max which is more than enough power. Keep it as simple as possible
