That's pretty cheap if you ask me, just look at his high performance upgrades!

1994 MAZDA RX-7 TOURING MODEL (MANUAL): This legendary RX-7 is an extremely rare, fast, and well-maintained car that garners looks wherever it goes. This car has only been serviced by the Mazda dealer and is in like new condition. Also, this vehicle has the rare, optional Bose CD stereo system. In the past year, I have spent well over $15,000 in numerous modifications and enhancements to the vehicle that not only have enhanced its performance and appearance, but have done so without taking away from the RX-7's mainly stock "sleeper" look. The car has been professionally repainted with DuPont ChromaLusion green/blue paint for over $5,000 last spring; the original (nearly 10 yr.old paint) was a little oxidized. Also, the car was recently pressure washed and undercoated. In addition, both turbos and the main wiring harness were replaced by Mazda at a cost of over $3000; the new turbos and wiring are Mazda OEM parts. Also, during this check, the Mazda technicians found the engine to be in excellent condition with extremely high compression. At this point, the car was ready for the install of many high-performance upgrades which have enhanced the performance capabilities of the vehicle drastically. The following items have been installed: Green LED washer nozzles, new clear front and rear license plate brackets, Sylvania Silverstar headlights, new Z rated tires, new Weathertech floor mats, a front strut tower brace, an SR Motorsports SMIC Intercooler, a custom-designed water spray system for the intercooler, Pettit cold air induction, Hyperground ground strap kit, DEFI boost gauge, stainless-steel brake lines, Brembo cross-drilled/slotted rotors w/Pro-Hawk Racing brake pads, new Mazda calipers all around painted red, complete new APEXI stainless-steel dual exhaust with an M2 downpipe and high-flow cat., and the $1250 programmable Apexi Power FC + Commander electronic control module. Lastly, I will include the Mazda Service Manual and dealer brochure.

Options Installed
Driver Air Bag; Anti-Lock Brakes; Air Conditioning; Alloy Wheels; Cruise Control; Compact Disc Player; Passenger Air Bag; Rear Window Defroster; AM/FM Stereo Cassette; Leather Seats; Power Door Locks; Power Mirrors; Power Windows; Power Steering; Sunroof/Moonroof; Tinted Glass;

If you wreck yours, shave 40K mi off it and can convince the insurance company to pay you "Market" price you could be ahead by quite a bit... (psst. it'll never work)

Plus most of us have dumped 10K or so into our FD's if we've had them for a year + and are serious enthusiasts... what makes him think he can recoup his investment ! ??? Or what even made him think an FD is an investment...
